Leadership Team:
Gail Tierney
Co-Artistic Director, Founder Gail just finished an eye-opening grad program in ecological theology where they learned about colonization, historical interpretations of sacred texts, and even some economics. She started performing at a young age and would leave the dark theatre to play and catch crawdads in the sunshine of central Pennsylvania. They’ve grown and been shaped by friendships and travels, most significantly in Nicaragua and Northern Ireland. They care deeply about disability and chronic illness, especially invisible illnesses and chronic pain--a part of their life that is slowly finding its way into creative expression. You can often find Gail processing her thoughts via poetry, puppets or comedy. She’s a lifelong nerd, struggling to choose between art and science—and now she does both!

She has a degree in theatre from Florida State University with focuses in performance, writing, and directing as well as a minor in Spanish literature. She has been acting and performing from a very young age and quickly found her home on stage and studying theatre at Florida State introduced her to a love of devising and creating art from scratch. As a storyteller and activist, her goal is to tell important stories that don't just explore the narratives of underrepresented individuals and social issues, but bring light to the powerful and vulnerable stories of strong women.

Emilie is an artist & soon-to-be grad student based in New York City. Emilie has a multifaceted background in theater, outdoor recreation, and education. Social justice is also a necessary element in her work, as she strives for stories that empower the communities they emerge from. Emilie grew up as a city kid in Curitiba, Brazil, and only became an outdoor enthusiast when she went to college. When she is not out in nature or performing, you can find her riding her bike through the streets of Manhattan.

Skylar is a visual and performing artist who recently graduated from Franklin & Marshall College, having studied primarily theater, creative writing, sociology, and dance. They have been involved in theater in various capacities for many years now, and are eager to make more connections in the theater world, while continuing to investigate the relationship between art-making and justice work--particularly environmental justice and its intersections with theater. In their spare time, they love to take photos, play music, draw, or read--but sometimes they enjoy just sitting outdoors, appreciating nature's beauty while quietly observing the odd behaviors, quirks, and routines of wildlife.

Paola is a New York City based performer from beachy Connecticut, and she famously had to wait until she was 22 to go camping for the first time. As the daughter of immigrants, she is passionate about creating access to nature and wild stories for culturally diverse communities. When she isn't writing sketch or performing, she is training for future trial runs in National Parks!
