Galaxy Fall: The Story with a Whale.
The Kaleidoscapes premiered their inaugural production, GALAXY FALL: The Story with a Whale in August of 2019 at The Glacier Institute in Colombia Falls, Montana.
This allegorical play follows young Luna, as she defends the body of a dead whale that mysteriously appears in her town. No longer able to ignore the effects of their negligent behavior, the townspeople are confronted with their greed, wastefulness, and selfishness. Imbued with her mother's affinity for nature, Luna is the town's last hope of creating lasting change for generations to come.

We also did some learning of our own during our time in Montana. The Glacier Institute is nestled just outside Glacier National Park and our team was honored to link up with the good folks at the Volunteer Program within Glacier National Park. With the assistance of Ranger Billy Chapman, we cleared about two miles of trail from invasive plant species such as daisies and knapweed, and learned to tell the difference between "Bad Purples" and "Good Purples," as we were quick to nickname two similar looking flowers. We started the day off in the Native Plant Nursery where seeds from plants integral to the balance of GNP's ecosystem are collected, planted, and grown. We had a wonderful afternoon, and are grateful for the chance to learn how to better protect our parks.
